Biocompatible Soft Conductor for Electric-tactile Haptic Interface
نویسندگان
چکیده
Purpose of the study: Haptic technology, which can qualitatively expand virtual or augmented reality experiences beyond sensation ear and eye, is realized by electrical mechanical stimulation afferent nerves mechanoreceptors. In this review, researchers highlight biological basis for suggest advanced direction in electric tactile-based haptic system using low impedance materials.
Methodology: Conductive polymer called “Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS)” was examined chemical properties biocompatibility.
Main Findings: Study PEDOT:PSS shows superior property terms deformability performance developing low-impedance, skin-like interfaces.
Implications: To provide wear- comfort, technologies that impose a negligible physical burden on user should be used. The mainstream technology involves development could myriads sensations to skin through not only fingertips but also some all regions body.
Novelty: Researchers strategy impart as well hydrogel desirable wearable systems.

A Tactile/Haptic Interface Object Reference Model
In this paper, we describe present a reference model for evaluating and designing individual tactile or haptic objects and groups of such objects. This model provides an understanding of the many facets involved in individual and groups of tactile or haptic interaction objects.
متن کاملElectronic Receptors for Tactile/Haptic Sensing
We discuss synthetic receptors for haptic sensing. These are based on magnetic field sensors (Hall effect structures) fabricated using standard CMOS technologies. These receptors, biased with a small permanent magnet can detect the presence of ferro or ferri-magnetic objects in the vicinity of the sensor. They can also detect the magnitude and direction of the magnetic field.
متن کاملTactile Cueing in Haptic Visualization
Haptic visualization is a key aid in presenting real or simulated data to individuals who are blind in a form that is suitable for comprehension. Conventional techniques in haptic visualization convert complex multidimensional data into a visual form such as points, lines, graphs etc. and subsequently add haptic features such as friction and texture to the rendered form. This allows individuals...
